Max Hudicourt was a Haitian lawyer, socialist intellectual, and political organizer — co-founder of the Parti Communiste Haïtien (PCH) with jacques-roumain in 1934, and one of the key figures who kept the Haitian left organized after Roumain's death in 1944.
