Vilokan

The Faces of the Gods: Vodou and Roman Catholicism in Haiti is especially useful here. In his account, ritual action such as the drawing of Legba's veve helps open access to Vilokan so that supplication can pass and the boundary between worlds can be traversed. That makes Vilokan less a generic heaven than a ritually approached spiritual domain.
