Lwa Danbala

Danbala is the oldest lwa, the great white serpent who existed before speech. He is the sky father, the creator of the cosmos. With his 7,000 coils, he shaped the stars and planets, formed the hills and valleys, and by shedding his skin, created all the waters of the earth.
