Five Dollars Reward. Absented himself from my service on the afternoon of Saturday last, the 30th of August, a NEGRO MAN, named CHARLES; he is about 5 feet 6 inches high, strong made, very artful and talkative; and, as I am informed he can read and write, it is probable he may attempt to forge a pass, and endeavor to get a passage on board some vessel for the Northward or Europe.
