Twenty Dollars Reward RUNAWAY from the subscriber, on the first of January last, his Negro Wench VENUS; it is expected that she will try to get up to Santee, where she formerly lived; she is about 21 years old, about 5 feet, 6 or 7 inches high, stout made, has a pleasant look when spoken to any way pleasantly, but very impertinent when crossed; she generally has large ear-rings in her ears – it is impossible to describe her dress, as she took with her several suits of clothes when she went away. The above reward will be paid on her being delivered to the Master of the Work-House or to me; and a further reward of Fifty Dollars, on proof of her being harbored by a white person, and Twenty Dollars if by a person of colour.
