Kingston Workhouse, July 22, 1815 Escaped from this Workhouse, a Negro Woman, named PATIENCE alias NANCY, said she belonged to a Miss Pinckey Allvin, but identified to belong to Miss. Jane Smith, of St. Thomas in the Vale: She is a good looking N, a Congo, 5 feet 4 ¼ inches, marked TS, country marks, not plain, on her face, has lost the nail of one of her fingers, and is supposed to be harboured at some of the Barracks.
