Marronnage — Fugitive Slave Advertisements

Spanish-Town, August 18, 1803. RAN AWAY from the Subscriber, on Saturday last, the 13th instant, JACK, alias CADOGAN; he is a creole, and a baker by trade; is supposed to be harboured at he east end of Kingston, amongst some of fisheries; he is well known in both towns, is from 5 to 6 feet high, of a middle age, and has bushy hair. A reward of Two Pounds Fifteen Shillings will be given on lodging him in any workhouse, giving inormation thereof; and the further sum of Four Doubloons will be paid on conviction by whom harboured.
