RANAWAY from the subscriber, a young negro named FORTUNE,
speaks French and a little English, 9 or 10 years of
age—he has absented himself since Sunday the 9th inst. He
had on when he went off, a check shirt and pantaloons ; he has
a sore on the thumb of the left hand. A generous reward will
be given to any person bringing him back to the subscriber, or
make known the place where he is concealed.

AVIS – UN JEUNE NEGRE nommé Fortune, parlant Anglais,
entendant un peu le Français, âgé de 9 à 10 ans, s’est absenté depuis Dimanche 9 du courant de chez le Soussigné : il était
vêtu lorsqu’il a disparu, d’une chemise et d’une culotte de gingas,
et il a du mal au pouce de la main gauche. On donnera une
récompense honnête à quiconque le ramènera au soussigné ou
fera connaître la personne qui le recelle.
