EST parti marron, le 10 Septembre courant, le nègre nommé
JOE, cuisinier, parlant anglais, français, & un peu espagnol,
d’une taille de cinq pieds huit pouces, ayant une marque sur
la joue, en forme de cicatrice ; il appartenait ci devant à M.
Landon & présentement à Mme. Van Pradelle.
Tout capitaine, dans le bâtiment duquel il pourrait être trouvé,
est prévenu qu’il sera poursuivi selon toute la rigueur des
lois.

RAN away, on the 10th instant, the negro JOE, cook, speaking
english french and somewhat spanish, five feet eight inches
high, having on the cheek a mark like a scar, formerly belonging
to Mr. Landon, and now to Madame Van Pradelle.
Notice is hereby given to the captain, in whose vessel the same
may be found, that he will be pursued with the utmost rigour
according to law.
