The Cap authorities nicely patronaged, the evening of
enchantment for the young students from Port au Prince.
Antoine Piquion, who had made himself the cicerone
of the crowd, completed the surprise-party with a night
promenade to Haut Du Cap and a lovely reception in
the country.
The next morning, on the way back, the excursion
ists halted at Vertieres. A Rheto student from Lycel
Antenor Firmin, Jean-Claude Vergin, made a speech ol
